Analysis and Solutions of Common Malfunctions in the Use of Three Major Packaging Machines:


I. When the film material is prone to deviation and cannot be fed normally during the operation of the equipment, in case of this situation, the position of the film roll and the tension balance bar can be adjusted, and then a trial run can be carried out. If the malfunction still cannot be eliminated, the angle of the upper triangular plate can be adjusted according to the situation. If the upper layer of the film material deviates from the clamping chain, the upper triangular plate can be adjusted in a clockwise direction; if the lower layer of the film material deviates from the clamping chain, the upper triangular plate can be adjusted in a counterclockwise direction.


II. When bundling and packaging 6-bottle sets, the photoelectric eye cannot detect the packaged items, and the machine is likely to cut the packaged items during operation. Facing such equipment problems, the detection angle of the horizontal photoelectric eye can be adjusted to an oblique angle to reduce the probability of the photoelectric eye detecting the gaps between the packaged items, thereby avoiding the chaotic cutting phenomenon during operation.


III. The shrinkage machine heats up slowly or cannot reach a relatively high temperature (above 160 degrees Celsius). The main reason is that the circuit of the heater is that the main power line passes through a magnetic suction switch and then goes to the electric heating tube. If the circuit does not pass through one of the phases, the above phenomenon often occurs. At this time, the contacts of the magnetic suction switch can be detected to see if they are normal, and then the ammeter can be checked to see if the ohmic values of each phase and the machine are the same. If both of these two items are normal, it means that there is a short circuit in the equipment. Corresponding circuit inspection and maintenance can be carried out to solve the short circuit problem. If the problem has not been solved yet, there is another possibility that all phases are connected but the circuit or the electric heating tube is abnormal. In this case, the heater needs to be replaced.


Production Management System of the Corrugated Cardboard Production Line:


I. Tungsten Carbide Corrugated Rolls: As the heart of the single facer, the corrugated rolls play a decisive role in the quality of corrugated cardboard and also have a direct impact on economic benefits. The tungsten carbide corrugated rolls are a special process in which tungsten carbide alloy powder is melted and sprayed onto the tooth surface of the corrugated rolls using thermal spraying technology to form a tungsten carbide coating. Their service life is 3 to 6 times longer than that of ordinary corrugated rolls. During the entire service life of the roll, its corrugation height hardly changes, ensuring the stability of the corrugated cardboard, reducing the consumption of corrugated medium and adhesive by 2% to 8%, and reducing the generation of defective products.


II. Touching and Pressing Rods of the Gluing Machine: The touching and pressing rods of the gluing machine are connected by many arc-shaped plate pieces that are not easy to wear and springs. The elastic force of the springs always makes the arc-shaped plate pieces evenly fit on the gluing roll. Even if the gluing roll is worn and sunken, the spring plate pieces will follow the depression, always making the corrugated medium evenly fit on the gluing roll. In addition, the springs with balanced elastic force will automatically adjust the height according to the thickness of the base paper and the change of the corrugation shape, so that the corrugation height of the corrugated medium when it enters the gluing machine for gluing is the same as that when it exits the gluing machine after gluing, controlling the amount of glue applied and ensuring the quality of the cardboard.


III. Touching and Pressing Plates of the Hot Plate Section: The touching and pressing plates of the hot plate section are used to replace the traditional heat transfer method of gravity roll touching and pressing. They are assembled by using special plate pieces made of materials that are not easy to wear. Each plate piece is equipped with a spring with balanced elastic force, so that each plate piece can fully touch and press on the hot plate, increasing the heat absorption area of the cardboard, improving the heat transfer efficiency, thereby being able to increase the production speed, maintain a perfect corrugation shape, enhance the strength of the corrugated cardboard and increase the thickness of the corrugated cardboard. The cardboard will not be unglued, will not blister, will be well bonded, and the defective rate will be reduced.


IV. Automatic Glue Making System: The glue making process is the process with the greatest fluctuation in the entire production process and the most crucial process affecting the cardboard. In traditional glue making, in many areas, it is single, and it is easy to cause inaccurate feeding due to human factors, making the quality of the adhesive unstable. The automatic glue making system is a typical complex integrating technology, machinery and automatic control. It can process multiple regional functions, historical data, real-time data, dynamic monitoring functions, human-machine dialogue, etc. in the glue making system, ensuring that the glue making is stably controlled. It can make the operation of the production line more stable, reduce human factors, solve problems such as blistering, through corrugation and softness of the cardboard, and reduce the defective rate.


V. Automatic Paper Joining Machine: Using an automatic paper joining machine for paper joining can avoid unnecessary waste during paper joining, reduce the shutdown of the corrugated cardboard production line and the occurrence of problems, ensure a stable high production speed and the high-quality cardboard of the entire production line.


The semi-automatic box gluing machines in box gluing machines can be divided into two types: One type of semi-automatic box gluing machine has evolved from the structure of a box pasting machine. This kind of box gluing machine is composed of an automatic feeding part, a grinding and gluing part, a conveying part, and a manual folding and pressing part. Workers fold and press it manually, and then put it into the pneumatic working part for pressing after reaching a certain quantity. Its characteristic is that the automatic feeding speed of the feeding part is relatively fast, but it cannot feed folded cardboard, only flat cardboard. The feeding part of this box gluing machine is similar to the front feeding structure. It uses adhesive tape, rollers, etc. for feeding. At the same time, it can also complete the bonding of two cardboard pieces forming a box, and can complete the bonding of special boxes such as irregular-shaped cartons and offset-mouth cartons. Its grinding and gluing working part can accurately roughen and glue the parts that need to be bonded, and can also use the nozzles configured in the machine to locally spray glue on irregular-shaped boxes.


The machine has 12 working positions on both sides, and 12 workers can carry out production operations simultaneously, and the production speed is also considerable. Another type is more widely used in China, mainly used for functions such as folding, gluing, adjusting, conveying, pressing, counting, and drying of cartons. The whole machine is composed of a feeding part, a gluing part, an adjusting part, a conveying and pressing part, a receiving and counting part, etc. The operation procedure is that workers manually fold the processed whole cardboard piece and send it to the gluing part. The gluing part automatically glues the bonding part of the cardboard, and then it is sent to the adjusting part by rollers for individual adjustment. After reaching a certain quantity, it is automatically transferred for pressing, drying and subsequent processing to complete. This semi-automatic box gluing machine is suitable for standard outer packaging boxes that are folded and have a single piece forming a box with a flap. Moreover, the "folding line" of the carton along the corrugation must be well pressed, otherwise the glued carton may be a defective product. This machine is suitable for cardboard pieces processed by die-cutting. Its maximum folded cardboard size is 1200mm×1200mm, and the minimum is 400mm×400mm, and the production speed is 50 to 70 pieces per minute.
